Photo Tips

The photographs used on your card or announcement are vitally important to the finished product. We've put together some tips for you to help ensure that your design will be as beautiful as it possibly can be!

Keep the background as neutral and clutter free as possible.
Get closer. Zooming in until your child's face fills the frame can create some interesting and beautiful shots of their facial features.
Use natural light. Believe it or not, an overcast day is one of the best times to shoot photos outside. Early morning or late evening is also optimal.
Consider the orientation of the photo required for your design! If the design calls for a vertical photo, and you upload a horizontal photo, it may not work with the design you have chosen.
