What size should my photo be?
Please send us the largest copy of the photo you have chosen to use. Do not crop it or reduce the quality in any way. Straight off of your camera is preferable. 1200x1800 pixels or larger is optimal.
If you are not sure if your photo is large enough, we would be happy to test your photo out free of charge. Simply email us with your photo and the name of the design that you are interested in.
Can I use a scanned photo?
Yes. We ask that all scanned photos be a minimum of 300 dpi (dots per inch) or preferably 600 dpi. We ask this to ensure the best quality design for you! If you are unsure of how to find or adjust these specifics on your photos, please contact us and we will help you in any way that we can.
Can I use professional photographs?
Yes, as long as you have permission from the photographer to use the photo. Please respect the copyright laws associated with your professional photos. Any photos upload to our site or emailed to us, are assumed to be in compliance with copyright laws.
I can’t decide what photos would work best. Can I send you extra photos?
Yes. If you have a hard time deciding on what photo to use, send us a few extra and let us show you what would work best.
Do I need to edit the pictures before sending them to you?
No. We prefer unedited photos.
Can I use a black and white photo?
Definitely. Photos can be left in color and we can adjust it to black and white. We can also retouch your photo to remove red eye, etc. If you are not sure if you want your photo in color or black and white, let us know and we can send you two different proofs so you can compare the difference before making your final decision.
What changes can I make on the announcements?
You can request changes to the font(s), colors, wording of the announcement, special quotes or poems. Announcements can also be accommodated for multiple births and adoption.
We will do our best to incorporate your special requests. Please include any special requests you may have on the order form. See our full list of changes that you can make free of charge.
How long until I receive my proof?
You will receive your proof within 72 hours of receipt of your payment. Proofs are sent to the email address provided on the order form.
Where do I upload my photo?
When you fill out your order form, you will be able to choose a photo to upload to our server. Additional photos can be sent to designs@babybugcreations.com.
What payment options do you offer?
We accept payments through Pay Pal. You do not need to have a PayPal account if you are paying by Visa or Mastercard.
